While Tarangire National Park is one of the least visited parks on the Northern Circuit, it remains the most popular park amongst the local expat community within Northern Tanzania.

Tarangire has one of the largest elephant populations in the world.  The Tarangire Rivers creates a focal point for wildlife that can be viewed throughout the year.  Much of the other wildlife viewing within the park is seasonal.
