Serengeti National Park is park of the Greater Serengeti Ecosystem which

also includes much of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Masai Mara.

 

The migration is known as one of the ten Natural Wonders of the World with millions of animals travelling the migration circuit.

The Seregeti is also home to Olduvai Gorgem,"The Cradle of Mankind", with finds of human ancestors dating back to over 2.5 million years ago.
